Virginia Lee Dye Adams, age 88, of Highland Heights, KY, peacefully passed on February 9, 2016. Ginny was at home surrounded by her loving family at the time of her death.
Ginny grew up in Lenoxburg, and graduated from Butler High School. Later in life she worked at R.L. Polk in Cincinnati and Internal Revenue Service in Covington. After living in Dillsboro, IN for a number of years, Ginny returned to Northern Kentucky where she resided for thirty years.
Ginny loved her four children and took great joy in her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include daughters Elaine Craig (Randy) of Erlanger, Cindy Purnell of Berlin, MD, Cassy Goldstein (Stan) of Tallahassee, FL, and son Barney Adams (Beth) of Versailles, IN; sister Mary Montago of Wilmington, NC; grandchildren Lee, Gannon, and Allison Craig, Jessica Goldstein Philip, Kristi Adams, Bridgette Adams Horan, and Sally Adams Horan; and six great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents Vera (Flaugher) and Ray Dye, and sister Nancy Dye Doggett of Falmouth.
Virginia was a member of the Church of Christ in Alexandria. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the church at 1054 Poplar Ridge Road, Alexandria, KY 41001.
A private service is being planned in her memory.
