Justin C. Rains April 22, 1973 - February 7, 2023

Justin C. Rains, 49, passed away on February 7, 2023, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Edgewood, KY. He was born on April 22, 1973 in Cincinnati, OH to Donald Rains and Donna (Steve) Elmore.  Justin attended East Central High School (1992) and received his degree from Northern Kentucky University. He married the love of his life, Sheila Wilson, on March 3, 2020, in Florence, KY.  Justin has been self-employed as a web designer and computer programmer at Portal Planet for 22 years. In his spare time, he enjoyed spending time with family, flying drones and reading. He was someone who loved animals, both cats and dogs, and his family. He is survived by his wife, Sheila Rains, his son Dalton Rains, his mother Donna (Steve) Elmore, and his father, Donald Rains, his sister Jenny (Matthew) Bowling and his niece and nephews, Logan and Luke Colyer and Lainey Pearl Bowling. He is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins. A Celebration of Life will be held on March 5, 2023, from 1:30 to 3:30 at the VFW in Southgate, KY, 6 Electric Ave #6, Southgate, KY 41071.
