November 27, 2020 at 2:44 amHarold and my mom Johanna lived in the same households at SEM, and I got to know him and love him during my visits and volunteering. He was a gentleman and a peacemaker who gave great hugs, and enjoyed rattling off the names of his children! We marveled at his beautiful woodworking creations. I took him to Bible Study many times. He was a man of great faith. My favorite memory of Harold is when he would lead the Hickory residents in saying grace at their dining table. He was a dear man. I’m so thankful to have known him. Bless you all for taking such good care of him. Sending love, hugs, and sympathy.
