He worked most of his life as a machinist and retired from Burdine and Anderson. He was hard-working, generous, loving, a true friend and Papa to all. Harold’s greatest love next to his family was fishing, spending long hours waiting for that bass to bite and making up grand stories when it didn’t. He was truly blessed with the best group of friends, making memories together on Dale Hollow Lake for over 35 years. What a beautiful gift to have such great friends. I’m sure Gino met him at Heavens Lake. He was a wonderful father, papa, uncle and friend, and a blessing to everyone who knew him.
Harold has chosen cremation. A memorial service will be held at a later date, and he will be laid to rest at Old Pigeon Cemetery at that time.
“Don’t cry for me. Today, I’m fishing in Heaven.”
