Donald Paul Cook, 64, of Hillsboro, passed away March 7, 2016, after an extended illness.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy Nelle Cotten; and his two children, Timothy Cook and Christopher Cook.
Don Cook was born in Houston, Texas and lived in Texas most of his life.
Don Cook will be sorely missed by many friends and family members.
He was a devoted husband and father. Don worked in manufacturing in Prairie, Texas for 33 years and retired in 2007. That year he moved to Missoula, Mont., where he took a job driving a school bus for middle school children, which he did for five years. Here in Ohio he raised chickens and also became an excellent cook in the home.
He was always a servant for God. Out of high school he attended a Baptist seminary for two years before going to work for the private sector.
A memorial service for Mr. Cook will be held in Fort Worth, Texas on March 19, 2016, since most of his family still resides in Texas.
