Jack J. Armstrong 83, was called to be with our Lord Sunday, October 18, 2020. He was born November 8th, 1936 to Mary Ruth and John E. Armstrong in Newport, Ky.
Jack is survived by his children; Jackie Armstrong Brierly and Mary Armstrong Wells. His sons in law Danny Brierly and Shane Wells. His daughter n law Kayla Moran Armstrong. His loving grandchildren; Scott Armstrong, Skylar Hurd, Kayla McCarty, Logan Brierly and Ashley Brierly. His Great grandchildren Layton Hurd, Addilynn Armstrong and Layne Combess. His many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in Death by his Parents, his siblings, wife Darlene and son John. Jack served his country in the United States Navy during the Korean War as a Gunners Mate. He traveled the United States and other countries and shared all his wonderful stories with us all. Jack worked many years as a pressman for National Band and Tag in Newport, Ky.
He was a boxer and skated in the roller derby in his younger years. Jack was an artist and loved to paint. He loved a good western movie and never missed his wrestling.
He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed by all.
A celebration of Jack’s life will be held at 3pm on Saturday, November 7th 2020 @
